Relationships come with their strengths, as well as their differences. Breakdown in communication, a lack of nurturing and not understanding the needs in our relationships are often factors that contribute to couples polarizing in their perspectives. Perhaps one party is looking to leave the relationship and another is not. It may be that both people in the relationship feel they have “tried everything.” These are appropriate reasons to seek a consult as a couple.
Postpartum couples counseling specifically addresses the changes and challenges that occur after having a child. We will address roles and responsibilities and work to find out how you can both best support your own self and each other.
Considering seperation?
Miranda is trained in discernment counseling. Discernment counseling is 3-4 sessions used to determine if the couple will be ending the relationship or not. Through these sessions we explore what each partner needs in the relationship and if it is possible. It allows grieving, clarity, and educates you on how grief will impact the divorce process should you decide to separate.
